As the Front Desk Assistant, Alex is the face of The Bentway Studio and can be found behind the reception desk at our new Canoe Landing Campus office. Alex is an administrator who brings a breadth of experience in events and hospitality, in addition to his time spent conducting research for museums, community health services, and other arts-related organizations across Winnipeg, Toronto, and the UK – holding positions at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, The Jewish Museum London, and Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Festival.
Alex has an academic background in urban geography with a BA from McGill University and is passionate about preserving and expanding space for marginalized communities through events and urban policy.
