Adil “Dil” Dhalla

Adil “Dil” Dhalla is a community builder, experiential artist, and social entrepreneur who loves Toronto and believes deeply in its possibility. Dil co-founded and has led the locally grown but internationally acclaimed community organization Reset for over a decade – one of the world’s first digital detox organizations, built on relational infrastructure and a curiosity about the relationship between technology and community culture. Previously Executive Director of the Centre for Social Innovation and Board Chair of the StopGap Foundation, Dil’s work centers on civic aliveness and social health, facilitating workshops, running participatory programs, and holding space for prolonged, sometimes messy public interaction. Dil’s portfolio of leadership for major civic events includes, but is not limited to: Wonderverse at YZD, Brightside at Allan Gardens, The Community Living Room in Little Jamaica, Toronto for Everyone at Honest Ed’s and a new Civic Ceremony with the Toronto Foundation scheduled for early 2027.
