The Bentway website is intended to serve as a tool to inform supporters, friends, visitors, partners, donors, and others about The Bentway and its programs.

Purpose: Applying for Community Advisory Committee
Data: Name, email, phone number, first three digits of postal code, and demographic information
Basis: Consent – by using out the application hosted on Survey Monkey, you consent to us collecting and storing this information in accordance with this policy.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected. as set out in the table above.

For example, we may use your personal information to:

  • reply to enquiries you send to us;
  • handle donations or other transactions that you initiate;
  • where you have specifically agreed to this, send you marketing communications by email relating to our work which we think may be of interest to you.

It is the policy of The Bentway that all information regarding visitors, donors, supporters and volunteers of The Bentway are maintained in the strictest confidence by The Bentway and its employees. Furthermore, The Bentway will not sell, or trade personal donor and volunteer information to any external party.   The Bentway will not disclose any personal information it collects from you to any external party, unless it has received your consent to such disclosure, or such disclosure is required by law. Any demographic information shared with The Bentway is stored on a secure server.

4. How long we keep your Personal Information

We take the principles of data minimisation and removal seriously and have internal policies in place to ensure that we only ever ask for the minimum amount of personal information for the associated purpose and delete that personal information promptly once it is no longer required.
