Aysha Jawara is a Toronto-based cultural programmer, producer, and creative working across music, media, and live events. Her work is grounded in storytelling, with a focus on creating experiences that bring people together and make space for emerging voices.
She is the creator and executive producer of Lover’s Rotation, a weekly radio show on CIUT 89.5 FM spotlighting R&B, Afrobeats, Dancehall, Reggae, and sounds from across the Black diaspora.
A graduate of the University of Toronto, where she studied Book & Media Studies, Creative Expression, and Political Science, Aysha is interested in the ways music, media, and shared experiences can create connection, conversation, and a stronger sense of community.
