BEATS + SKATES is a multidisciplinary collective of Toronto-based roller skaters, beat makers and street artists dedicated to using collaborative art making approaches as relational storytelling. BEATS + SKATES aims to bridge cultural gaps by inviting new and existing communities into events that celebrate dance, visual art and music production, offering a platform for skill enhancement to emerging Black artists, 2SLGBTQIAP, female and Artists of Colour. Beats + Skates organizes DIY community activations that foster relationships between artists across disciplines. The BEATS + SKATES collective was created by Enna Kim.
