The Buck Teeth Girls Club are a Toronto-based mural collective comprised of Andrea Manica, Caitlin Taguibao, Melissa Luk and Nicole D’Amario. As plant enthusiasts we often draw upon natural landscapes as a source of inspiration in creating compelling visual narratives of a place.
Andrea has been creating large-scale murals since the summer of 2013. She has painted throughout Canada and internationally, on her own and with members of the Buck Teeth Girls Club. She is also an illustrator and tattoo artist working in Hamilton and Toronto. Her work is inspired by storytelling, celebrating unique identities, and preserving our natural environment.

Nicole has been involved in mural work since the founding of the Buck Teeth Girls Club. Along with city-wide mural work (both with the collective and independently) Nicole has expanded her practice to youth outreach. Painting with local children and youth, Nicole has brought mural programs to schools and community centres across the city, promoting the importance of community ownership of public spaces.
