Emissive (Evan Jamal Vincent) is an electronic music DJ & producer. Drawing influence from the explosion of forward-thinking 90s electronic music innovation and shining it through the mutated prism of contemporary sound design approaches, Vincent’s music is familiar yet otherworldly. Vincent’s most recent release comes in the form of a 4 track EP called Unseen Measures on NYC label Aronia Records. He is currently working on an original score for an independent short documentary and is finishing up an album of tracks made in collaboration with contemporaries from Toronto, Montreal & beyond. Evan actively works as a freelance audio professional specializing in mixing, scoring and music education. He is an audio arts facilitator for SKETCH Working arts helping to empower young people to create and complete their own music/audio art.
