Jaiveer (“Jai”) Singh is an entrepreneur and the CEO of Mint Pharmaceuticals. Under his leadership over the past 16 years, Mint has emerged as one of the country’s leading generic pharmaceutical companies and has launched over 100 Rx molecules in Canada (fewer than 5 Canadian owned and operated companies have such a diverse portfolio offering). Mint has been recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte and CIBC consecutively since 2019 and has averted 22 National Drug Shortages on 15 different molecules in Canada. Mint is also a member company of the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association (“CGPA”).
In 2020, Jai was recognized by BNN Bloomberg as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. In 2017, the Neighbourhood Pharmacy Association of Canada named him its Distinguished Associate of the Year for his contribution to the advancement of the community pharmacy industry.
Jai is also an active early-stage Investor passionate about supporting fellow entrepreneurs in building differentiated and high-quality businesses. He is a founding supporter of HXOUSE (a Toronto-based incubator for creative talent) and has been an active member of the YPO Toronto Metro Chapter since 2013. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.Sc. from Carnegie Mellon University. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Singh was an Investment Banking Analyst at CIBC World Markets in New York.
