Natalie King (she/they) is a queer interdisciplinary Anishinaabe (Algonquin) artist, facilitator, and member of Timiskaming First Nation. Based in Toronto, her work blends painting, community engagement, and installation to explore Indigenous memory, queer futures, and the relationship between land, body, spirit, and how our relations shape our attunement to love and survival. Her work has been exhibited across Canada including at the Banff Centre, Nuit Blanche, the Doris McCarthy Gallery, and La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse. She is currently preparing for solo exhibitions at the Temiskaming Art Gallery and Ojibwe Cultural Foundation. Through vibrant colour and Anishinaabeg cultural continuity, King’s practice centers joy, relationality, and transformation.
