After 25 years in engineering, Nada and Mazin were ready for a quieter chapter, a retirement spent close to nature and rooted in an active, hands-on way of life.
A visit to Prince Edward County sealed it. They fell for the region’s idyllic scenery, its wineries, and sandy beaches – the idea of a small family-run farm began to take shape. Lavender, with its vivid colour and unmistakable fragrance, became their muse. In 2017, they found the perfect spot, a piece of land overlooking a natural ravine with views across Lake Ontario — and their agricultural adventure began.
