Looking for a fun night out with a creative twist? Our weekly Art Socials at The Bentway Studio are back by popular demand. Join this block printing workshop to learn the basics of using foam blocks to create your very own prints and designs. No experience necessary!
Block Printing:
Explore linework and pattern making with this fun and accessible approach to creating prints. In this block printing workshop with local artist Sarah Aranha, you’ll create your own designs by carving custom foam blocks and then apply ink to these forms to print your own set of greeting cards, just in time for the approaching fall season.
It’s sure to be a fun evening with the chance to meet new people and learn a creative skill.
Registration for July and August dates will open on June 17.
What you need to know:
- All skills levels welcome – no experience necessary.
- Youth under age 16 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
- All materials will be provided.
- Registration is limited to a maximum of 65 people per week. No rush line will be available. Any available tickets will be visible on the Eventbrite ticket page; if it’s sold out, please try a different date.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before for the start of the workshop.
- This venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Accessible and all-gender washrooms are available on-site.
