Comics and Zines:
Get ready for an all-ages drawing night centered around making comics. Comic books are a fantastic art form for sharing stories of all kinds. But if you’ve never made a comic before, then where do you start? Join professional comic book artist Josh Rosen as he leads a series of fun, beginner-friendly comics activities. He’ll be sharing tricks of the trade and teaching participants the quick path towards making comics of their own.
It’s sure to be a fun evening with the chance to meet new people and learn a creative skill.
Registration for July and August dates will open on June 17.
What you need to know:
- All skills levels welcome – no experience necessary.
- Youth under age 16 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
- All materials will be provided.
- Registration is limited to a maximum of 65 people per week. No rush line will be available. Any available tickets will be visible on the Eventbrite ticket page; if it’s sold out, please try a different date.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before for the start of the workshop.
- This venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Accessible and all-gender washrooms are available on-site.
