Designing Cartoon Characters:
Get ready for an all-ages drawing night full of games and activities. Characters are the heart of any story. They’re also one of the most fun things a person can draw! But what goes into making characters that really stand out? Join professional comic book artist Josh Rosen as he shares character design techniques used in comics and animation, and engage in fun drawing exercises based around inventing characters of your own.
It’s sure to be a fun evening with the chance to meet new people and learn a creative skill.
Registration for July and August dates will open on June 17.
What you need to know:
- All skills levels welcome – no experience necessary.
- Youth under age 16 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
- All materials will be provided.
- Registration is limited to a maximum of 65 people per week. No rush line will be available. Any available tickets will be visible on the Eventbrite ticket page; if it’s sold out, please try a different date.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled before for the start of the workshop.
- This venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Accessible and all-gender washrooms are available on-site.
