Construction at Bathurst starts April 27, 2026 on the next Gardiner Gateway.
Construction on the Under Gardiner Lighting Project at Bathurst St under the Gardiner Expressway will begin Monday, April 27, and selective closures will be taking place during this period. South of Housey St, a portion of the northbound Bathurst traffic lane will experience temporary disruptions on weekdays between 9:30am-3:30pm from May 4-15. The eastern sidewalk will experience temporary disruptions, but will still be accessible to pedestrians.
Following installation, commissioning and lighting performance adjustments will take place to ensure the system is calibrated and operating as intended. All work will be complete by May 21.
