Montreal-based LeMonde Studio presents United in Light, a luminous new installation celebrating the many nations of the FIFA World Cup™. Featuring four large-scale, interactive LED-screen flags at the Bentway Skate Trail, the work responds to human touch, transforming as visitors engage. Fans are invited to interact with the installation, celebrating their home teams while reflecting the global spirit of the city.
Montreal-based LeMonde Studio presents United in Light, a luminous public installation celebrating the many nations of the FIFA World Cup™. Located at the Bentway Skate Trail, four large-scale, interactive LED flags anchor the FIFA Fan Festival™ as glowing landmarks and a meeting place. Responsive to human touch, each flag transforms with shifting light and sound representing different countries, inviting visitors to engage directly with the work.
Active throughout the day and night, the installation shines in a shared, immersive environment—one that invites fans to celebrate their home teams while reflecting the global spirit of the city.
Le studio montréalais LeMonde Studio présente United in Light, une installation publique lumineuse célébrant les nombreuses nations de la FIFA World Cup™. Le long du Bentway Skate Trail, quatre grands drapeaux interactifs à DEL servent de repères lumineux et de lieu de rencontre au cœur du FIFA Fan Festival™. Sensibles au toucher, les drapeaux se transforment, leurs jeux de lumière et de son évoquant différents pays et invitant le public à interagir directement avec l’œuvre.
De jour comme de nuit, l’installation déploie un environnement immersif et partagé, incitant les partisanes et partisans à célébrer leurs équipes nationales tout en reflétant l’esprit cosmopolite de la ville.
