Join us for an interactive seed-starting workshop to plant and care for local greenery. Learn about gardening as a political action based on stewardship and the importance of building relationships with the Land and our more than human neighbours.
Greenest City, a program of West Neighbourhood House, builds healthy, inclusive neighbourhoods through education and empowerment to preserve, protect and improve the environment.
Workshops are free; attendees are welcome to register for one or all sessions.
What you need to know:
- The Bentway Studio is a ground-level, physically accessible space.
- All gender and accessible washrooms available.
- Family-friendly. Youth under age 16 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
- All materials will be provided.
