To mark the Canadian premiere of Public Trust, join acclaimed artist Paul Ramírez Jonas in conversation with The Bentway’s Director of Programming Anna Gallagher-Ross about his imaginative body of work and his long-time engagement with democracy, participation, and the public realm.
From projects such as Key to the City and The Commons to Public Trust, Ramírez Jonas’s works invites people to consider what it means to participate in—and take responsibility for—the cities and communities we share. The conversation will explore how his practice transforms everyday acts of exchange, promise, and collective participation into opportunities to imagine new social contracts.
