Meet us on our figure-eight skate trail for our monthly Roller Skate Parties and roll with The Bentway in partnership with BEATS + SKATES and The Melanin Skate Crew!
Whether you have superfly moves to share or are working on the basics, all are encouraged to groove under the Gardiner together. Expect live DJs, and a group skate demo. As always, skating gear rentals are available on-site with SUSO Skate Co. (pre-book to guarantee your size and time slot!). It’s the best summer night vibe!
This year, our skate crew hosts are putting a creative spin on these parties through added art, creative expression, and social connection, while further amplifying the roots of roller skate culture. What you need to know:
- Youth under age 16 must be accompanied by a caregiver.
- Skate and protective gear rentals are available on site through SUSO Skate Co. You can pre-book a rental time or walk-in.
- Skate rentals start at $18 for one hour and include wrist guards. Additional safety gear is available to rent for a small fee.
- This venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Washroom hours: open 1pm – 10pm on Roller Skate Party event days.

The Melanin Skate Crew is a trio of talented people with one shared goal: to spread love and joy through roller skating. In skate culture, crews are formed to showcase choreographed tricks and move together on the rink, similar to your favourite pop bands and dance groups growing up!
