Join artist Skye Paul, Running Fox Beads, for a Bentway community beading workshop inspired by the artistic practice of Nico Williams and his project Tracings, a series of large-scale Indigenous regalia designs that underscore the importance of healing and care for the well-being of our city. Tracings is on display under the Gardiner at The Bentway Skate Trail as part of the Softer City summer exhibition.
At the workshop, participants will learn basic beading techniques to create their own beadwork. Come learn a new skill while gaining a deeper knowledge of the craft and making connections with the urban environment and each other.
